We are thrilled to have attended this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 held in the vibrant city of Berlin, Germany.

PhotoXport were in Berlin working with our suppliers to be a part of this vibrant and forward thinking event. As Europe’s premier exhibition for screen and digital printing, wide format printing, and textile applications, FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 brought together industry leaders, innovators, and creatives from around the globe!

This year’s event was co-located with the European Sign Expo, the continents top signage and visual communications exhibition. Here, the world’s leading suppliers unveiled new technologies and shared insights into the fast evolving, innovative industry.

FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 hosted hundreds of exhibitors, all showcasing the latest in printing technology, solutions, and product launches across 7 halls! From graphics to décor to packaging and textiles, every corner of the show floor was bursting with innovation and colour!

Attendees also had the opportunity to explore emerging trends, network with professionals, and discover industry leading equipment and consumables which are set to shape the future of print.

DTF (Direct-to-Film)

Producing hitherto unobtainable final quality and durability, DTF (Direct-to-Film) printers are a type of printing technology used for transferring designs onto various materials, primarily fabrics. The process involves printing a design onto a special film, which is then transferred onto a substrate, typically clothing, like T-shirts, hoodies, and more using heat transfer of the final image.

The use of white ink means all coloured material can be successfully printed on.

UV DTF

UV DTF (Ultraviolet Direct-to-Film) is an innovative printing technique used to create long lasting, high quality decals and stickers. This process involves printing UV cured ink onto a specialised film. Once ready, the design can be peeled and applied directly to a variety of hard surfaces such as tumblers, mugs, water bottles, and more.

The use of white ink means all coloured material can be successfully printed on.

UV PRINTING – (Direct-to-Surface)

Producing an exceptional final finished quality for the consumer.

Another variation of printing techniques is UV printing where ink is printed directly onto a surface and then cured by ultraviolet light. This method allows for printing on a wide variety of materials and surfaces, including wood, metal, glass, and plastic. UV printing has the added flexibility of transferring prints on to a wide range of objects, including fabrics.

The machines can handle depths of up to 14 inches and also with a special adaptor print directly onto candles and glassware.
