Global Technology Company Creates Solution For Transition From Silver-Halide To LEP Technology & Inkjet – Zeno360°

Meggen, Switzerland Zeno360° AG showcased its industry-leading bookbinding solutions at Printing United at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

As a result of customer requests at the show, Zeno360° AG announced an adaption of the LayFlat IND530-2000 RF book block system which allows high-volume clients to use the same finishing equipment for both silver-halide rolls and for digital sheet feed with barcode. The Softcover IND350-200 will also be offered with this capability.

The featured products, displayed at the APS Imaging Solutions stand, were the Zeno360° LayFlat IND530-2000 RF book block system, the Zeno360° Casing-In IND410-420, and the Zeno360° Softcover IND350-200.

Zeno360° Layflat IND530-2000 RF is a high-speed, fully automatic book block system that produces layflat book blocks from single sheets and / or roll feed. It can create promotional books, not only by gluing paper back-to-back, but also by inserting cardboard between the sheets. It is an all-in-one station, offering creasing, folding, and an inline automatic book press. The system is ideal for professional promotional books.

Zeno360° Casing-In IND410-420 is a fully automatic casing-in machine. The hard cover and book block are automatically fed into the machine. The machine sprays the hotmelt and assembles the cover on the book block in the center position. The compact machine, which includes a heat and joint-forming station, can produce up to 7 books per minute.

The Zeno360° Softcover IND350-200 is an optional in-line softcover finishing attachment that automates the creation of books and brochures with softcovers. With flexible capabilities, it can produce both book blocks and softcovers effortlessly. The machine can be used offline and with any of Zeno360’s LayFlat models.

The Zeno360° LayFlat IND330-2000 RF is a high-speed, fully automatic system designed to produce premium layflat book blocks from single sheets and / or roll feed. It uses hotmelt gluing technology for efficient and cost-effective production. It is rated for industrial-grade operation with speeds of up to 2000 cycles per hour and can run 24 hours a day with large volume feed capabilities.
